okee now thiz mite seem like a lil touchy topic around these partz...but um, ive been on thiz site & LHCF & ive noticed that alot of women r still rockin relaxerz...not 2 knock the fact of anybody wearing 1, bcuz i 2 used 2 wear them back n the day, gave it up, & onlee applied it 2 my *edgez* & then decided 2 give that up 2....i attended cosmetology skool & learned that the majority of chemicalz that we apply 2 our hair (especially black hair) is not good, but yet n still, there r millionz of folkz still using relaxerz, bleachez, color, etc....now i kno these sitez r all 4 the promotion of our hair, but if a chemical relaxer is supposed 2 b a *bad* thing, then y do some people still continue wearin them?....trust me when i say i totally & completely understand that itz a *necessity* 4 some folkz....but on the other hand, isnt it kind of a contradiction 2 say that ur tryna *take betta care of ur hair these dayz*, but ur still applying a relaxer, which iz really doin damage 2 it?.....now of course some will say itz their prerogative 2 do wat they want with their hair...& i can totally respect that...hey, 2 each hiz/her own...i waz just thinkin about that 2day on my way 2 good ole Walmart 4 some more productz, & decided i would blog about it just 2 c wat the *consensus* iz on the topic...thiz should make 4 a great debate im sure...if not, then i think i may have just jumped out of the frying pan & n2 the fire...lol....until next time....the saga continuezzzz.............................................
